¿Qué debería mejorar primero nuestro barrio?

Two ways to improve a neighborhood journey An illustrated neighborhood with a bus on one route and a cyclist on a separate bike lane.
A possible response

B1

These original exercises are focused speaking practice, not a complete DELE practice test. The sample answers are short teaching examples, not full-length exam responses.

DELE B2 Tarea 1 practice

Compare the Options. Explain Your Choice.

A useful response does more than announce a favorite. It weighs different proposals and explains why your priorities make sense.

A Better Way to Move Around the Neighborhood

Original task · 6 proposals

A point to weigh · Worked example

A more frequent service may help people with long journeys. How would you address the cost of running it?

A Possible Response

Worked example

Try a different priority next. Use the same structure: a choice, a reason, a limitation, and a response.

Your speaking task

A Possible Response

Worked example

Now Consider the Next Question

Your interpretation does not need to be the only possible explanation. It should connect logically to the scene and leave you able to discuss another possibility.

Más opciones en línea 12%
Your speaking task

A Possible Response

Worked example

What About the Smallest Group?

No necesariamente.

Describe the result accurately before explaining what you think it means. You are discussing the information, not just reading the numbers.

Practice noticing the key comparison first. Then ask yourself what the figures leave unexplained.

Give Your Opinion Somewhere to Go

A longer answer is not automatically a better answer. Add something that helps the listener understand your reasoning.

01

State a View

Prefiero mejorar los autobuses porque son importantes.

The listener knows your preference, but not who would benefit or why this option should come first.

02

Add a Specific Reason

The answer now identifies a practical need and explains why the proposal matters.

03

Respond to a Challenge

The speaker answers the concern directly and adjusts the proposal instead of repeating it.

Now choose another proposal. Explain your reason, imagine a reasonable objection, and answer it without starting your whole argument again.

Original practice for Tasks 1 and 2

Task 1 · A short presentation

Talk About an Activity You Started

Read a Possible Response

Practice goal: Give the listener a clear sequence: when it started, why you joined, what happened, and what you would like to do next.

Task 2 · Continue the same topic

Answer the New Question

Read a Possible Reply

Answer the new question. Do not repeat your original presentation.

Task 4 · Use the same situation

Use the original prompts to prepare an answer, compare it with the worked example, and try a follow-up question. For an interactive session, take the prompt into your Spanish AI tutor conversation and ask for one question at a time.

Is this a complete DELE practice test?

No. This page focuses on original speaking exercises and worked examples for B1 and B2. It does not reproduce a complete exam across all skills or provide an official result.

Are these official DELE questions?

No. The prompts, illustrated situations, sample answers, and fictional survey are original learning materials. Use the official Instituto Cervantes resources for published exam models.

Do I need to speak Spanish with an accent from Spain?

No. The B1 guide and B2 guide accept established Spanish language varieties used consistently. Choosing a tutor’s regional variety does not change the exam task you need to complete.

Can AI feedback tell me my official DELE score?

No. AI feedback is intended to support practice. It is not an official DELE assessment, a guaranteed exam score, or a promise that you will pass.

Can I use these tasks for A2, C1, or C2?

This page is designed around B1 and B2 speaking practice. Other levels have their own requirements. Check the guide for your target level rather than treating these exercises as a complete substitute.

Should I memorize the sample answers?

Use them to understand how an answer develops. Then change the details, explain a different preference, and respond to another question. A memorized paragraph should not replace your own response to the task.

Where should I check registration details and official results?
